Welcome to our StarGo back-office video tutorials. This video will demonstrate how to manage the email templates in your system.
To access the email templates, click the ‘Menu’ button in the top right corner.
The blank email template builder will be displayed. Users can create a new template or edit an existing one by selecting it from the dropdown menu. Users can either create a template for any licence type or create a template for all licence types.
To create a brand-new template, users will need to select what ‘Licence type’ they would like to assign the email template to. For this example, we will select ‘skips’. Name the template and add an email subject. Specific templates can have particular mailing groups assigned to them. Use the dropdown menus to select which mailing group you want to assign.
Use the provided formatting tools to add content to the template. The six dropdown menus in the top left enable users to add database fields to a template. Each menu is expandable and contains multiple fields that can be added with a click. Once you have completed your template, click the ‘Save’ button.
The template will then be able to be used when using the compose an email function in the actions menu.
