Established in 1999, StarTraq pioneered the automated enforcement of camera generated traffic offences in South Africa. In 2001 StarTraq entered the UK Police Market and now provides its back-office processing software to over 50% of the UK Police forces. This includes: the London Metropolitan Police, the Police Service Northern Ireland, Go Safe Wales and Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

StarTraq operates beyond the UK to provide Police forces and local authorities around the world with its web based, and vendor independent, back office software application, the Dome (Dynamic Offence Management and Enforcement).

The Dome been designed for the processing of different camera generated offences or officer issued tickets e.g. speeding, red-light running, parking, seat belt, mobile phone usage, level crossing, banned turns and bus lane infringements. StarTraq also provides local authorities with software to digitally transform their permits and licensing operation.
