Welcome to another Dome tutorial, this video will give you an overview of the ‘Offence Codes’ sub menu.
This menu allows system administrators and managers to add the offence codes and offence code criteria in the system.
The menu gives you access to the following sub menus:
‘National Offence Codes’ – Add, edit or remove national offence codes in the system. A national offence code identifies what law has been broken, a description of that law and a reference to what section of the law it is enforced under
‘Offence Codes’ – This allows users to create multiple offence properties for one national offence code. For example, a national offence code for speeding will have multiple offence codes associated with it, this is because speeding can cover a wide range of offences
And finally, ‘Criteria’ – This is a list of workflow rules that contain conditions that need to be met to have a particular offence code assigned to an offence. For example, a speeding vehicle doing between 35 and 42mph on a road where the limit is 30 mph will have a different offence code to a vehicle doing 43 – 50mph
