Welcome to another new features video. This video will demonstrate StarTraq DOME’s ‘Single Sign On’ feature.
‘Single Sign On’ allows DOME users to link their Microsoft Windows account with their Dome account.
It is an easier and more secure way to sign into the DOME because once the link has been created, users can sign-in at the click of a button. Additional security options can be enabled and customised to your organisations preferred level. For example, users may be required to use the Microsoft Authenticator app on their smartphone to confirm access. User access and any links between Microsoft accounts and DOME accounts can be managed in the user’s sub-menu.
‘Single Sign On’ is easy to setup for users. Click the ‘Sign in with Microsoft’ button for syncing a work account or the ‘Sign in’ button to sync a Windows account. Once you have logged in with your Microsoft credentials you will be re-directed back to the DOME and asked to sign in with the DOME account credentials you wish to link. Once the link is setup you can login to The DOME with one click.
It is important to note that a ‘Single Sign On’ account can only be linked to a single DOME user, but a DOME user can have multiple Single Sign On accounts linked to it.
