StarTraq is delighted to announce that Sunderland City Council has gone live with our cloud-based highways licensing and permitting software, StarGo.
The solution has digitised the application and approval of five licence and permit types: Skips, scaffolding, Section 50s, Section 171s, cherry pickers, and MEWPS. StarGo will streamline every stage of the licence application process for Sunderland Council by improving the customer experience and accelerating cost recovery.
The StarGo software consists of three modules.
- An online portal for the public to apply and pay for local government services.
- A back-office solution for local authorities to manage the end-to-end application, approval and compliance process.
- A Highway Inspectors smartphone application to track active/inactive permits out in the field and issue an FPN if required.
The solution went live in December 2023.
