Welcome to another Dome tutorial, this video will give you an overview of the ‘Custom Properties’ sub menu.
System administrators and managers will use this menu to add, edit or delete any of the multiple custom properties in the system such as: custom fields, picklists and managed lists.
A custom field allows you to add extra fields to the Dome so you can capture extra information regarding an offence. You can also report on data held within custom fields.
Whitelists allow for the Dome to hold information such as suspect vehicles which can then highlighted on an offence using the workflow.
The menu gives users the ability to add, edit, or delete:
- ‘Custom Fields’
- ‘Sync Types’
- ‘Managed Lists’ For example, whitelists and blacklists
- And finally, ‘Managed Lists Values’
