StarTraq are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a contract with the London Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to provide our browser-based traffic enforcement solution, DOME.
Over the last few years, the MPS has invested in the latest enforcement camera technology across London’s road network. To cope with the increased number of speeding and red-light running detections the MPS needed to modernise their back-office for the enforcement of camera generated offences.
The process efficiencies achieved through the implementation of the StarTraq Dome document management system will enable the ‘MPS Traffic Prosecutions’ team to significantly increase the number of offences being processed without any increase in the current team size.
The project is a key part of the ‘Vision Zero’ strategy, set by the London Mayor, TfL and the MPS, to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on the capital’s roads to zero by 2041.
